Seeing Wrexham Reached for Jesus - Together

Welcome!

Welcome to our website! Whether you are looking for a church, wanting to get involved in a project or seeking information for prayer you should find what you are looking for here.

There are many active churches in the Wrexham area, and increasingly we are working together to make a positive impact on our town. The variety of Churches in town gives us a real richness in diversity, and yet we are finding that we can all unite around the core beliefs and values of Christianity and live these out in practical ways. We would love all Christians to be part of our wider church family and we would love everyone in our town to find out what we believe and what we are about. If you’re not already, do get involved.

Chair of Mission Wrexham, Rev Richard Sharples says:

Since moving to Wrexham in August 2007, I have been deeply impressed by the depth and width of the work going on between Christians of different Churches. It is something to celebrate and cherish, and something not to take for granted. I commend this website to you... may it lead you into new relationships, into unknown territory, and into the joy and challenge which are marks of the Kingdom which Jesus proclaimed.

One scripture has niggled its way into the collective consciousness of many of us involved in Mission Wrexham, and I hope it will do the same with you...

How good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in unity! For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life for evermore. (Psalm 133v1,4)

As well as these links, we highlight on this site three aspects of Church life in the town:

  • Main Projects which Mission Wrexham is seeking to develop and sustain
  • Any Major Events being promoted or organised by Mission Wrexham
  • The Churches, associated with Mission Wrexham who have asked to be profiled on the site
