Who and What is Mission Wrexham?Mission Wrexham is dedicated to seeing Wrexham reached for Jesus. We seek to achieve this through direct encouragement and enabling of the church in Wrexham County Borough in its work of Mission & Evangelism. This is accomplished by providing a network for local churches and their members, whereby mission projects are initiated and developed, evangelistic initiatives promoted and prayer encouraged. It has active members from across the Borough of Wrexham, and over the 15 years of its existence has played a part in the development of such ministries as Wrexham Listeners, Alpha, Street Pastors, 24/7 prayer and Christians against Poverty. The church in the town has been helped in its work following visits arranged through Mission Wrexham of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Elaine Storkey, Steve Chalke and in 2008 welcomed the visit of Sandy Millar of HTB. Mission Wrexham reports its work to Cytun Wrecsam (Churches Together), who endorse our projects, and Mission Wrexham promotes the ministry of prayer across the churches by holding a townwide prayer meeting each term and publishing a regular Prayer News bulletin.
